This Wednesday, July 13, Mustang Prep will teach incoming Coronado students the basics of project-based learning, as well as how to create and print 3-D files.

The classes will run from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The last 45 minutes of each session are the best opportunities for visual impact.

Mustang Prep is a way to prepare incoming freshmen for success in Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses by exposing students to higher-level curriculum and expectations for these types of classes.

Coronado was designated as a 2016-2017 Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (T-STEM) Academy by the Texas Education Agency.

Wednesday is the finally day of Mustang Prep, and the project-based learning highlights Coronado’s T-STEM designation.
